Rebranding for a financial institution
This project was one of my earliest experiences as a designer. My role was to assist the head of design in rebranding the entire suite of marketing and communications material. This project played a paramount role in my understanding the basics of visual design and the process in creating both content for both the online and offline world.

About the project
Blueshore Financial is a banking institution located in British Columbia, Canada. In 2014, the company underwent a corporate rebranding focussing on their brand on financial wellness and empowering people to reach their goal of financial freedom.
The materials shown below are samples of the print and digital assets that I had assisted in working on during the rebranding project. This project was foundational in my learning of the design, branding, and project management.
Part of my design work at Blueshore Financial, I was responsible for banking machine rebranding project. My role was to ensure all the automated banking machines were styled with the new visual identity, right down to the last window decal.
Project scope
-
The machine was located at over 15 different locations in Vancouver. A large part of my role was to work with the print agency who created the physical branded materials (plaques, window image treatments, and machine images) and provide artwork and dimensions to be rebranded.
I project managed scheduling, artwork and design, and scoped out the delivery time.
-
Working closely with design director, I played a large role in providing the dimensions and area that would need artwork and design.
I would be responsible for ensuring the artwork was print ready and scalable across all branch locations.
“Amanda was an exceptional addition to the team and provided valuable assistance during a period of intense work due to the imminent launch of our new name and brand. She is very detail oriented, thorough and a quick learner. She works effectively both as a team and independently. She was enthusiastic and a pleasure to work with. She comes with my highest recommendation!”
